The company specialises in the design, manufacture, and automation of electrical control and switchgear systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.As part of their continued growth, Troy Panels is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical aptitude and an interest in automation and switchgear design to develop their career in a dynamic and innovative environment.The RoleThe successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical control and automation systems. Working closely with the design and production teams, you'll ensure that all electrical schematics and systems are delivered to the highest standard of quality and functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical control panels and switchgear systems.Prepare detailed electrical schematics and documentation using EPLAN Electric P8 (training provided if required).Support automation projects including PLC integration, wiring schematics, and system commissioning.Collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate panel builds and timely delivery.Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality checks prior to dispatch.Provide technical input on process improvements and innovation in panel design.Key RequirementsDegree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.1–3 years' experience in an electrical design or panel-building environment (more experienced candidates also considered).Strong understanding of switchgear operation and automation systems.Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 is highly desirable (training provided for the right candidate).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.What We OfferSalary range: €45,000 – €55,000 per annum, commensurate to the successful candidate's skills and experience.Training and professional development support.Opportunity to work in a growing, forward-thinking company with strong prospects for career advancement.Supportive team environment and continuous improvement culture.
