About Mosaic Social Impact
Mosaic Social Impact is a small, established consultancy working with nonprofits, charities, and mission driven organisations across Ireland. Our work focuses on strategy, organisational development, governance, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building, typically with organisations navigating complexity, transition, or constraint.
Mosaic has an active client base, a strong reputation, and trusted relationships in the sector. The consultancy is founder led, intentionally selective, and built on credibility, discretion, and long term thinking rather than volume.

The Role
This is not a traditional employed role and not a delivery only consultancy position.
The
Lead Associate, Delivery and Business Development Director
will work closely with the founder to deliver projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to the sustainability of Mosaic's work. Strategic ownership of the consultancy remains with the founder. However, this role carries real accountability for delivery quality, client experience, visibility, and pipeline contribution.
This role is for someone capable of holding delivery responsibility while also
actively owning visibility and business development activity
within a small, founder led consultancy context.
Time commitment will vary depending on active projects and business development activity.
What You Will Be Doing
Delivery and Client Work
* Lead and deliver consultancy projects end to end
* Manage client relationships with professionalism, sound judgement, and discretion
* Represent Mosaic Social Impact consistently and credibly in external settings
Business Development and Visibility
* Actively contribute to identifying, pursuing, and securing new work
* Support proposals, tenders, and partnership conversations
* Maintain an active and professional presence on LinkedIn and other agreed channels on behalf of Mosaic
* Contribute to content, commentary, and visibility that supports credibility and pipeline
* Build and maintain relationships across the nonprofit and social impact ecosystem
This role requires comfort with ambiguity, shared responsibility, and the understanding that business development and visibility are part of senior responsibility, not a separate function.
Who You Are
* Legally resident in Ireland and able to travel occasionally as required
* Experienced working within or closely alongside nonprofit, charity, public sector, or social impact organisations
* Comfortable in senior, client facing roles involving delivery, facilitation, evaluation, and complex stakeholder engagement
* Fully IT and media literate, confident using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft 365, Excel, Google Drive, Canva, and CRM systems
* Detail oriented, analytical, and able to work accurately without close supervision
* A self starter with sound judgement who can manage workload, priorities, and commitments independently
* Professional, respectful, and capable of operating within an established founder led structure
* Reliable, grounded, and collaborative, comfortable working in a small consultancy where trust and follow through matter
This role is suited to someone who understands the realities of working in the nonprofit and social impact sector and does not require constant structure, reassurance, or direction.
What's On Offer
* Commission based income aligned with delivery responsibility and contribution to pipeline
* Shared leadership in client delivery and day to day operations
* Flexible working model with autonomy over schedule and workload, subject to client and project needs
* Strategic collaboration with the founder on delivery, positioning, and sustainability
* Potential pathway to deeper involvement over time, subject to trust, contribution, and mutual alignment
* The opportunity to build credibility, visibility, and influence within an established and respected consultancy
This is not a salaried role and not a short term or exploratory engagement. It is intended for someone seeking substance, continuity, and responsibility.
Exclusivity and Conflict of Interest
This is a part time, flexible engagement. The successful candidate may hold other professional roles or commitments.
However, due to the nature of client relationships and confidentiality, this role requires exclusive professional alignment with Mosaic Social Impact within the nonprofit, charity, and social impact consulting space.
Applicants who are currently operating as independent consultants, contractors, or partners in competing nonprofit or social impact consultancies will only be considered if they are willing to
formally cease
independent consulting activity in this sector and align exclusively with Mosaic Social Impact going forward.
Other professional activities outside this sector are acceptable, provided they do not create conflicts of interest or compromise Mosaic's work, reputation, or client relationships.
Candidates considered under this arrangement must also have the right experience to take on a senior delivery and business development role within this context.
How to Apply
Please send your CV and a short cover letter to
In your message, please briefly outline:
* Why this opportunity aligns with your experience and current professional priorities
* Your experience working within or closely with Ireland's nonprofit or social impact sector
* What you would realistically bring to Mosaic's delivery, client relationships, and sustainability
Applications without a cover letter will not be progressed.
This role offers real responsibility within a small, trusted consultancy. It will suit someone ready to operate with independence, judgement, and long term commitment.
If this resonates, we welcome a thoughtful application.
