Design and Deliver Innovative Fiber Solutions
A high-priority role for a skilled Fiber Engineer is available in our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing fiber solutions and maintaining records surrounding our fiber optic infrastructure using GIS and associated tools.
You will have the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders to interface, create engineering design documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system. Additionally, you will ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy, optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery, and travel 10% of the time.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, project management and time management skills, and be highly autonomous. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field is required. Two years of experience working in GIS Systems, project/program management, and data, inventory, or records management are also necessary.
