The successful candidate will oversee construction work, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols while maintaining a high standard of environmental management.
* Project planning and coordination for assigned projects
* Task allocation and activity supervision
* Maintenance and inspection of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Review of third-party RAMS/SSOW and methodology sequencing
Leadership by example is essential in developing a proactive safety culture on site. This includes identifying and preventing unsafe behaviors, defects, and communicating daily briefings with all supervisors, employees, and contractors.
Regular updates on project progress will be provided, including risk identification and opportunities to complete the project efficiently. A 3-week lookahead will be shared with clients and their representatives on a weekly basis.
Quality logs for subcontractors will be developed, and defects addressed promptly. Site inspections/audits will be conducted, ensuring all duties are fulfilled, and subcontractor performance managed. Issues will be escalated to the project manager as necessary.
