At PUNCH Consulting we are looking for a Senior Civil Technician with 5-7 years’ experience to work in our dynamic Civil Engineering design team with flexibility to work from our Dublin, Cork or Limerick Office.
Job Description
* The candidate will be proficient in the preparation of civil infrastructure drawings / details for site development, roads infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, public health infrastructure, etc.
* As part of the Civil Engineering team, you will be required to deliver project drawings to the required technical standards in a timely manner reporting to the project manager.
* You will also be responsible for overseeing and checking standards on project drawings by Junior Civil Technicians.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in producing 2D drawings in Autocad and 3D model designs in Autodesk Civil 3D.
* You will also be required to carry out site inspections and attend Design Team meetings.
Desirable Skills And Attributes
* A Higher Certificate (NFQ Level 6) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Knowledge and experience of AutoCad 2D & AutoDesk Civil 3D is essential.
* Knowledge and experience of Autotrack and Causeway Flow is beneficial.
* Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and designs is essential.
* Attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Proven commitment to CPD.
