Westmeath. Attractive shift patterns available.Duties and ResponsibilitiesElectrical or Mechanical Maintenance and fault finding of production equipment in a manufacturing environmentTesting and qualification of the production equipment which are PLC and PC controlled.Interact and respond to production team lead directionsInteract the manufacturing team regarding production schedules with regard downtime for PM and equipment accessAbility to work to tight timelines and schedules.Pro-active attitude generates ideas and inputs to deliverables to support the effectiveness and efficiency of the project.Acceptance, operational and functional testing / qualification in order to make systems ready production.AuthorityYou have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.RequirementsMinimum Level 6 in Electrical, Mechanical OR Electrical and Instrumentation3- 5years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry with an established track record.Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components.Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills.Demonstrate a high level of technical ability.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong Teamwork abilities.Willing to work shift cyclesAt Atlantach we offer a highly competitive benefits package, including:Competitive salaryPension Scheme.Healthcare Insurance cover.Further education financial assistance.Access to a personal financial advisor.Bike to work scheme.Employee engagement and company-wide events.Atlantach Technical Services is an Equal Opportunities Employer
