Our in-house expertise includes AI-powered room monitoring, 24/7 support, and a unique enterprise service layer, enabling us to operate with even greater agility, efficiency, and precision.As our business and client base continues to develop further, we now have a newly created opportunity for an experienced AV Project Engineer to join our team.The successful candidate will be heavily involved in ‘Innovative Projects’, as our team is at the forefront of groundbreaking projects; fantastic technology exposure, as we pride ourselves on utilising the latest technologies and methodologies; be immersed in a highly collaborative environment; and will have superb opportunities to experience personal professional growth, as we are committed to career development, with access to continuous learning opportunities.Key responsibilitiesProduce system schematics including audio, video, control, powerEnsure that the equipment specified is correct for the installationProduce rack layoutsCo-ordinate the production of M&E drawings with the CAD teamWork closely with the project managers and clients to ensure that all requirements specified are accounted forLiaise with 3rd party trades/subcontractors to ensure smooth integrationTest system racks to ensure they meet the requirements identifying and rectify faults prior to shippingCommission equipment, including programming of audio DSPs, setup digital video systems/video conferencing systemsFault finding systems and resolve issues associated with design and manufactureTechnical Training to the client during project handoverSkills and experienceExcellent technical knowledge of AV & VC equipment from all major brandsMust be able to produce AV diagram including control flow diagrams, video and audio componentsAn up-to-date understanding of the AV marketplace including products and trendsExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projectsAbility to commission control system and troubleshooting.
