Pre-School Leader Required
About Us:
We are a well-established, child-centered preschool committed to providing a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. Our play-based curriculum encourages creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. We also have a strong link with engaging in outdoor spaces daily.
We are looking for a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team and support the holistic development of each child in our care. You will work alongside experienced early years educators to plan, implement, and evaluate engaging learning experiences in line with the Aistear and Síolta framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
* Foster a safe, happy, and stimulating environment
* Observe, assess, and document children's development and learning
* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies
* Ensure compliance with Tusla and DES regulations at all times
Requirements:
* Minimum QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Education
* Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta, and Child Protection policies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine love for working with young children
* A love for being in the outdoors on a daily basis
Desirable:
* First Aid, Manual Handling, and Child Protection certificates
* Previous experience as a preschool leader

Contract length: 10 months
Pay: €16.00-€17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

* Navan, CO. Meath: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
