Safefood is an implementation body set up under the British-Irish Agreement with responsibility on an all-island basis for promotion of food safety and healthy eating, research and fostering scientific co-operation.
Human Resources & Administration Executive Applications are invited for the position of Human Resources & Administration Executivebasedin our Cork head office.
The Human Resources & Administration Executivewill provide advice and assistance to the Corporate Operations Manager in developing and implementing Safefoods HR strategy.
They will review and maintain HR systems, policies and procedures in line with Safefoods business plan, legislation and best practice.
They will advise on and maintain the Safefood pension scheme, equality and disability schemes and Freedom of Information Code of Practice health & Safety arrangements and HR functions such as recruitment, performance management and learning and development.
They will demonstrate an ability to research the latest legislation and guidance, provide advice, draft and implement policies and procedures for Safefood on issues arising.
Qualifications and Experience: A Business/HR related degree and/or relevant professional qualification, e.g.
Member of CIPD (part qualified may suffice) At least 3 years HR generalist experience gained in a HR function within the public, private, voluntary or community sectors.
Ability to demonstrate HR generalist knowledge and experience.
Salary HEO (NPPC) €55,492-€67,483 The appointment will be made at the minimum of the scale.
