About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the leadership team of a highly respected professional services firm based in Dublin. This newly created role will support the Head of Audit and oversee operational delivery, strategic execution, and cross-functional collaboration across a high-performing audit function.
This is an ideal role for a strategic, analytical leader with a strong background in operational management within audit, consulting, or broader professional services.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Audit, driving operational excellence and efficiency.
* Lead day-to-day operations across sub-service lines, optimising workflows and resource allocation.
* Support implementation of long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with performance goals.
* Develop reporting dashboards and deliver insights on financial and operational performance.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration across Audit, Finance, HR, and central leadership.
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified accountant or equivalent professional background.
* 7+ years in a senior operational leadership role.
* Proven experience managing large teams and delivering operational transformation.
* Strong commercial acumen, especially in a professional services or audit context.
* Advanced data and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, financial modelling).
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
