Estimator Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for multiple bids simultaneously.
* Analyse material and labour costs; liaise with suppliers to develop strong working relationships.
* Support post-tender and pre-contract processes by evaluating contractual and cost implications.
* Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, including site visits to gather measurements, calculations, and relevant data.
* Ensure timely and complete submission of all tender documentation.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 4 years' experience in estimating, ideally within Joinery, Fit Out, or Marine sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proactive mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
* Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
* Willingness to travel internationally as project needs arise.
Desirable Criteria:
* A third-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.

Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm (Site visits may occasionally be required)
