Position Financial Lines Underwriter Kenn Co Underwriting Limited are currently recruiting for an additional Financial Lines Underwriter to join their team.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Lines, you will work with your colleagues in the Financial Lines team as part of a hybrid role based in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.
Responsibilities The underwriting of Financial Lines products Professional Indemnity, Medical Malpractice, Directors & Officers Liability, Cyber Insurance, Life Sciences and Event Cancellation.
Working in conjunction with the Financial Lines manager to develop and grow products with new and existing capacity providers.
Participating in binder renewals and Capital Provider audits.
Meeting sales targets whilst maintain underwriting standards.
Proactively managing the renewal of policies, issuing proposal forms, renewal terms and following up on outstanding documentation.
Working closely with brokers to retain business.
Processing mid-term amendments.
Developing a detailed understanding of all our Financial Lines products.
Building relationships with Brokers by correspondence, phone and attending broker meetings when required.
Committing to continually improving quality and efficiency within the team, and to achieving personal and team objectives.
Other duties and responsibilities as may be required by Management.
Requirements Results driven with ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative.
An experienced underwriting professional, with a proven track record in Financial Lines.
CIP qualified Proven experience of dealing with brokers and clients.
