The property forms part of a wider Irish-owned hospitality and retail group, known for its long-standing presence in the Irish market and commitment to service excellence.If you're an enthusiastic leader with a passion for hotel operations and a track record of achieving results, this could be your next great move.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full day-to-day operations of a 66-bedroom 4-star hotelLead a team of 45+ staff across all departments, ensuring smooth shift operationsWork alongside the Operations Director in setting budgets, targets, and hotel strategyCollaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with company standards and objectivesMaintain high levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring consistent service deliveryDrive internal sales initiatives in collaboration with the hotel and group sales teamsEnsure all Health & Safety protocols and property standards are maintainedFacilitate regular team meetings, including sales, HOD, food & beverage, and daily planning sessionsManage and monitor the hotel's HACCP plan with relevant departmentsLead training and development initiatives to continuously improve team performanceWhat You'll Need2+ years' experience in a similar Hotel Operations Manager or Senior Ops role (3*/4* property)Strong working knowledge of all hotel departments, especially food & beverage and eventsExperience in leading, training, and developing staff and management teamsA proven track record in delivering results and meeting commercial targetsUnderstanding and experience with HACCP systems and hotel complianceFamiliarity with front office systems and general hotel technologySolid grasp of hotel financials, forecasting, and reportingExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a wider teamFluent English – both written and spokenWhat's on OfferFree parkingComplimentary staff meals while on dutyCompany pension schemeAccess to group health insurance (discounted rates)Ongoing training and development opportunitiesStaff reward & recognition initiativesEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP & Wellness Support)
