Senior Cardiac Physiologist Cardiac Physiologist Physiologist Dublin Hospital Dublin Full time Position Our client an established Dublin Hospital wishes to recruit a Senior Cardiac Physiologist.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: * The Cardiac Physiologist will undertake the duties appropriate to that position.
* The Cardiology Department carries out a wide range of cardiac investigations that include: Essential: * ECGs Recording/Interpretation, and highlighting abnormal findings.
* 24 hour Holter monitoring Patient hook up and technical downloading/ analysis interpretation.
* 24 hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Patient hook up and analysis of same.
* Event Recording Patient hook up and analysis.
* Exercise Stress test Patient hook up and interpretation.
* Event Recording Patient hook up and analysis.
Desirable: * Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory to include technical support for Angiograms & percutaneous Coronary Intervention and competence during emergency procedures.
* Tilt-Table testing.
* Loop recorder, pacemaker & ICD interrogation.
* Trans-thoracic echocardiography.
* The Cardiac Physiologist will also be expected to carry out the following: Performing the procedure or examination, report and highlight abnormal findings Calibration and routine maintenance of all equipment, which includes sterilisation where necessary Essential Qualifications * Possess the MPPM Certificate and/or MSCST qualification from the Society of Cardiological Technicians or equivalent.
* Be an associate of the Society of Cardiological Technicians Essential Experience * A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar environment.

* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required.
* Be able to demonstrate adaptability to the rapid changes taking place in the Hospital.
