Job Description
1. The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling economic returns to different agricultural systems by using data contained within the AgNav platform in conjunction with data from the Teagasc National Farm Survey.
2. This position offers a significant opportunity to support and accelerate the development of the AgNav platform working across the research and Knowledge Transfer directorate of Teagasc.
3. To deliver on Teagasc commitments to the programme of work funded by DAFM, you will contribute to day-to-day research including further development of an econometric-based model estimating economic returns across different farm systems & enterprises.
Furthermore, you'll interpret research findings preparing scientific publications delivering reports at various levels dissecting necessary recommendations regarding effective mitigation strategies.
