Social Care Worker
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Care Worker to join our Nationwide Disability residential service.
The successful candidate will provide care and support through a person-centred approach, meeting the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a key worker for named Residents where appropriate.
* Provide support to Residents with their daily plans and individual goals.
* Assist Residents with living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and family visits.
* Participate in on-floor duty teams and coordinate shifts, supervising other staff as needed.
* Collaborate with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to deliver high-quality service provision.
Requirements:
* Hold a qualification at Level 7 or above, registered with CORU.
* Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance practices and service provision.
* Prior experience working in residential, respite, or day services with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Familiarity with Person Centred Planning, clinical and human resource policies, and relevant legislation.
* Understanding of National Disability Standards (HIQA).
