Senior Estimator - Dublin/Cork - Contract/Permanent

Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates information among the project team and Client
2. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
3. Leads discipline estimator work sequence and internal reviews of their deliverables to meet project demand
4. Prepares the total Project Basis of Estimate
5. Leads the preparation of Project Estimates and supports the presentation to Executive and Client management teams.
6. Develop discipline estimates as necessary to support project demands
7. Mentor and provide guidance to assigned discipline estimators. Provide feedback on performance to Discipline Estimating Manager
8. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
9. Travel to support both project and corporate needs
Required Skills/Experience:
10. High School Diploma or GED required
11. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
12. 10+ years of progressive experience in construction estimating
13. Proven leadership experience in a senior estimating role
14. Understands the fundamental concepts of engineering drawings
15. Understand and apply AACE Recommended Practices
16. MS Office Suite
17. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
18. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
19. Extensive knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
