Cork, Ireland | Posted on 05/05/2026We are recruiting an experienced EHS Advisor / Lead to join our team in Cork.Key ResponsibilitiesAdherence to the project & Safety Management systemAdherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislationAdherence to PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety PlansCoordination in the development of task specific Method statements, risk assessments, safe plan of action, permit to workCompliance with the project execution planCoordination of project safety indicatorsGood Safety Practices are managed & maintainedOngoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substancesEnsuring that safety interventions are completed & registeredCarry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actionsMaintain records of statutory inspections are available for project activities, tool and plantAdopt a proactive approach to project EHS requirementsAbility to work either independently or as part of a teamProvide Safety input to site management & at site EHS forumsEnsure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & proceduresEnsure that induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintainedProject PPE is resourced & availableCompile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessaryAssist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to project managementWelfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintainedLiaison with site Project Management on environmental, health & safety issuesUp to date documentation is included with the Safety FileAny other duties associated with this roleEssential Criteria for the Role7+ years’ experience of managing environmental, health and safety on large construction sitesExperience working on Data Centres5+ years managing a team of EHS advisorsThorough knowledge of current environmental, health and safety legislationFlexibility in working patterns where necessaryAbility to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on siteAbility to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
