Job Title: Key Account Development Manager
About the Role:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in leading and motivating a team of experienced professional drivers who deliver our products and services in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and sustain strategic partnerships with key customers to drive business growth.
* Promote and sell our products and services in your designated territory, achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
* Deliver exceptional after-sales service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Foster new business opportunities and generate leads through effective market analysis and customer engagement.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently.
* Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales activities and market trends.
* Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
* Lead and motivate a team of drivers to support the sales strategy of being number one in our territories for customer service.
* Grow sales by acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.
* Analyze Aged Debts reports with Credit Control Manager to optimize cash flow.
* Maintain Group credit policies within the business.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the oil distribution industry or a related field.
* A proven track record of achieving sales results and meeting customer expectations.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a sales team effectively.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel within your territory.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
* A strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
