**Job Title: Substation Technician**
Our ideal candidate is an experienced Substation Technician who can work independently or as part of a team to perform various tasks related to the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical infrastructure in substation environments.
1. Installation of electrical infrastructure which includes transformers, switchgear and cables
2. Perform routine maintenance and repair substation electrical equipment including circuit breakers, power transformers etc.
Skill Set: The successful candidate will have experience in working with LV/MV/HV Networks. They must possess good problem solving abilities knowledge of hazards involved with working on energized electrical systems. The ability to handle multiple tasks prioritizing them effectively skill performing various connections configurations procedures phasing circuits transformative works.Educational background NVQ diploma in Electrical Engineering qualified certification from relevant bodies such as City & Guilds for High Voltage Operational Safety would be desirable however not essential.
