About Us
Jacksons Hotel Leisure Centre offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment for hotel guests, members, and swim school participants. We are currently seeking a professional and enthusiastic Lifeguard / Swim Teacher to join our leisure team.
About The Role
This dual role involves maintaining the highest safety standards within the pool area while delivering engaging and structured swimming lessons as part of our swim school programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Lifeguarding the swimming pool and leisure facilities in line with safety regulations
* Ensuring the safety of hotel guests, members, and swim school participants
* Delivering swimming lessons in accordance with Swim Ireland / hotel programmes
* Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the pool and surrounding areas
* Enforcing pool rules and hotel leisure centre policies
* Responding promptly and professionally to emergency situations
* Providing excellent customer service in a hotel environment
* Reporting incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues

The Gallen Hospitality group is comprised of three 4-star, family-run hotels located in Ballybofey and Gweedore, Co Donegal. Required Criteria
* Current Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland
* Garda Vetting required
Desired Criteria
* Swim Teacher qualification
* Previous experience in a leisure centre or hotel environment is an advantage
