Job Title: Temporary Prep Chef
Location: Dublin 12
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:30am – 15:30pm (next week only)
Pay Rate: €16 – €18 per hour (average rate for chefs in Dublin)
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable Prep Chef to join our clients catering team on a temporary basis next week. The ideal candidate will be available all next week, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to support a busy kitchen team with essential preparation tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, chop, and portion ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
* Follow all HACCP, food hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
* Correctly label, date, and store prepared items.
* Maintain prep stations and equipment in a clean, tidy, and organized condition.
* Safely operate kitchen equipment after training.
* Support the production team in meeting daily order requirements.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow direction from senior chefs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a prep chef or in a similar kitchen role.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
