This role is suited to someone with prior experience in a regulated financial services environment, ideally within an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), who enjoys solving operational problems and improving how a regulated business runs.You will work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, including the COO, providing data-driven insights and delivering practical, business-focused improvements.What You'll DoSupport business-as-usual operations of the Irish EMI, ensuring processes operate effectively and in line with regulatory expectationsAnalyse operational and customer data to identify issues, trends, and improvement opportunitiesProvide data analysis, reporting, and business insights to support the COO and senior managementDeliver small, operational projects, including:Process optimisation and efficiency improvementsCustomer impact reviews and remediation activitiesOperational readiness and control enhancementsPerform root cause analysis, identify lessons learned, and design proportionate process improvementsSupport monitoring of operational KPIs, service levels, and performance metricsPrepare management reports, presentations, and analysis using Excel and PowerPointWork cross-functionally with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Customer Service, IT, and Product teamsSupport audit, regulatory, and assurance activities by producing operational evidence and analysisQualificationsProven experience in a regulated financial services environment (essential)Prior experience working within an EMI, payments, or fintech environment (strongly preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with evidence of delivering operational improvementsDemonstrated experience managing or supporting small-scale operational or process improvement projectsHigh proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to analyse business issues, determine root cause, and design practical solutionsStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholdersHighly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working autonomouslyWhat's In It For YouRecharge and Give Back: 25 days annual leave, 2 volunteering days, your birthday off - plus 5 extra 'Take5' days when you've used your core leaveHybrid working (at least 2 days in the office)Health InsurancePension with 5% company contributionEmployee Assistance ProgramIncome Protection and Life Insurance
