Offer description

We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Residential and Supported Living Services. This exciting opportunity will provide the chance to work on various aspects of Human Resources, including administration, employee relations, compensation, benefits, absence management, performance management, training and development, retention, and employee engagement.


Key Responsibilities

* Contribute to Human Resources practices and objectives that promote a high-performance culture, emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards.
* Provide general administration within the department.
* Create, update, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files in line with applicable legal requirements.
* Support employee health and safety, welfare, and wellness initiatives.
* Develop, update, and maintain policies and procedures.


Employee Relations

* Investigate disciplinary hearings and grievance hearings in accordance with Company policy.
* Evaluate compliance to Employment Law.


Compensation & Benefits

* Administer the company pension scheme and comprehensive benefits package.
* Review and update the benefits package and discount scheme.


Absence Management

* Liaise with the Risk & Liability Manager to support Work-Related Injuries.
* Manage sporadic absences through attendance monitoring.


Performance Management

* Support Line Managers with performance concerns.
* Manage the Probation review and Performance appraisal system.


Training & Development

* Collaborate with the Recruitment team and Training & Development team.


Retention & Employee Engagement

* Support Line Managers with the Retention Strategy.
* Manage the leaver process, conducting exit interviews as required.

Essential Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation. Experience: Prior HR generalist experience is essential. Key Skills: Excellent communication skills, Proficient in written communication skills such as report writing, Highly organized, strong interpersonal skills, self-starter/self-motivated, adaptable, clean driving license.
