Job Title:
Senior Resident Engineer – Water Network Improvements
----------------------------------- As a Senior Resident Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of new and upgraded water network improvements. This position requires excellent leadership and management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standard.
----------------------------------- Key Responsibilities:
• Provide supervision and management on programmes of work to deliver new and upgrade water network improvements
• Drive delivery of projects on site on behalf of Uisce ireann with a focus on health & safety, time for delivery, cost management, and quality standards
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with contract documents and applicable specifications
• Monitor and report on works being carried out to Employer's Requirements
• Implement Uisce ireann safety policies and standards on construction projects
• Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation
----------------------------------- Requirements:
• At least 10 years' experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including water or wastewater projects
• A degree in a related discipline such as Civil Engineering
• Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations
• Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
