Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Technician to join our team in Galway City, close to University. This full‑time permanent role commences at the end of August. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the dispensary team, ensuring accurate and patient‑focused dispensing, medication management, and daily liaising with healthcare professionals. You will manage the supply of medicines to our nursing home patients and routinely coordinate with nursing homes. You will work alongside pharmacists, doctors, nurses, consultants, nursing home managers and other healthcare professionals involved in dispensing, preparation and supply of medicines.

Qualifications
Essential experience and skills:
At least one year of Irish dispensary experience, demonstrating familiarity with the Irish dispensing process, stock management and a strong understanding of the PCRS/GMS requirements, ideally using the MPS/McLernons dispensary system.
Previous experience with robotic dispensing is an advantage.
Written and spoken fluency in English.
Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
Availability for late evenings, Sundays and bank holidays (pharmacy opens 9 pm Monday‑Friday, 12‑6 pm Sundays and bank holidays).
