You will lead end to end delivery of highly visible projects within the team, partnering closely with engineers and product stakeholders to take ideas from exploration through production.Your main responsibilitiesDevelop and evaluate AI and LLM applications for retrieval, generation, and conversation.Build evaluation pipelines and establish robust measurement standards.Collaborate with Software Engineers to productionize models.Research prompt strategies, fine-tuning approaches, and RAG architectures.Define metrics and experiments that connect model performance to user impact.Document and communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders.Mentor junior scientists and champion data quality standards.We’re looking for someone withStrong background in Applied Data Science or Machine Learning with 7 yrs + experience.Hands-on experience building and evaluating LLM-powered systems, including RAG, conversational AI, and agentic / multi-agent workflows.Deep understanding of LLM evaluation techniques (offline benchmarks, human-in-the-loop review, LLM-as-judge, and online experimentation).Background in statistics, experimentation, and ML research methodsHands-on experience writing high quality production code (Python, SQL) and experience with various data science libraries (Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).Experience with ML platforms and orchestration tools (e.g., Vertex AI, MLflow, Dagster), or equivalent systemsYou are very comfortable working in a start up environment, are a strong collaborator and you have proven ability to deliver end-to-end projects with high level stakeholder visibility.Tech stack & team contextPart of the AI Products group alongside engineers and scientists across Dublin, Italy, and New York.
