The individual’s key role is to lead a team of country and compliance experts who can guide the business on how to do business in EMEA and represent the region on corporate initiatives and projects. This role will be reporting to EMEA Employee Relations Leader.The PersonWe’re looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership, good stakeholder management, and is comfortable driving multi-functional teams to align and implement to a defined schedule. Attention to detail is a must, and it should not hinder the candidate’s ability to see the big picture. You must be a strong and effective communicator, both verbal and written, which are essential when working with a globally distributed team.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be leading HR Operations for the EMEA regionTrusted advisor for HR and Business leadersTo ensure compliance, interpret and apply company policy and procedures, as well as local regulationsBuild a knowledge base for the region to support how to set up, hire, and manage employee lifecycle in each EMEA countryBuild and manage an HR compliance calendar for the regionRepresent the region and support M&A and legal entity projectsSupport global projects by sharing regional requirements for system or process improvement projects and drive local adoptionPreferred ExperienceWe are looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager covering key markets like Ireland, UK, GermanyExperience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environmentsExperience with remote and matrix managementExperience working with Labour Laws and compliance related activitiesExpertise in EMEA labour laws and compliance requirementsAbility to influence at all levels of the organization, including HR and Business LeadersStrong interpersonal and people leadership skills focused on coaching and collaborationCross-cultural competence: ability to work on a global teamExcellent communication and articulation skillsAcademic CredentialsBachelor’s degree within Business/ HR or related field requiredPost Graduate degree / MBA preferredLOCATION:Dublin, IrelandBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
