As part of the continued evolution of the finance function, the organisation is seeking to appoint a Senior Manager, Finance to join its Corporate Finance team. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take on a broad, international finance leadership role within a highly regarded and growing organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Director Finance, the Senior Finance Manager, will lead key financial reporting, statutory compliance and governance activities across a number of international legal entities. The role will manage a small team and work closely with stakeholders across Tax, Treasury, Legal and FP&A, supporting a complex international reporting environment while ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and high-quality financial information.
This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership, international operations and strategic projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of a best‑in‑class finance function while building a long‑term career within a dynamic global organisation.
The role is based in Dublin with a hybrid working model and limited international travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes across designated international legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage statutory reporting, audit deliverables and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, management accounts, consolidation reporting and period‑end financial analysis.
Present financial information and statutory accounts to Boards and legal entity directors as required.
Oversee corporation tax compliance, VAT reporting and engagement with external auditors, tax authorities and professional advisers.
Support key corporate activities including distributions, capital contributions, restructuring initiatives and legal entity changes.
Partner closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal and FP&A teams to provide financial insight and support business decision‑making.
Drive process improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies while strengthening financial controls and governance frameworks.
Lead, develop and mentor a team of finance professionals and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support strategic projects and finance transformation initiatives as the organisation continues to evolve.
Experience
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and technically strong finance professional who enjoys operating within a complex international environment. You will bring a strong blend of financial reporting expertise, leadership capability and commercial awareness, together with the ability to build effective relationships across a global organisation.
This role is particularly suited to an individual seeking broader exposure, increased responsibility and a clear pathway towards future finance leadership opportunities.
Specifically, we are looking for high achievers with the following experience and competencies:
ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
6-8+ years' experience in a senior finance, financial reporting, controllership or corporate accounting role.
Proven experience managing month‑end close, financial reporting, statutory compliance and financial controls across multiple legal entities.
Experience operating within a complex international organisation, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals or another regulated environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Tax, Legal, Treasury and FP&A functions.
Experience leading, coaching and developing finance professionals and high‑performing teams.
Advanced Excel and strong analytical, financial reporting and problem‑solving capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
Experience working with external advisers, particularly tax and audit advisers, would be advantageous.
