Banking and Property Finance SolicitorDublin 2 FirmProfileWe are currently seeking to recruit a Banking & Property Finance Solicitor to join the Banking Department of this mid-tier Dublin 2 law firm. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and dynamic professional banking team with 2 Partners and an organisation with 40 members of staff.The role will involve working with a client base comprised of pillar banks, alternative lenders and also borrowers in different lending sectors. The role would require the successful candidate to:Take ownership of matters delegated to him/her to bring them from beginning to end;Work as part of a larger team where the mandate requires it;Work closely with other team members in terms of business strategy implementation and growth;Carry out property investigations and lease reviews and advise Lenders on same;Advise banks/borrowers in relation to secured/unsecured bilateral and syndicated loans;Handle other ad-hoc banking & property finance work as required within the Department.Required ExperienceExcellent academic recordGood exposure to commercial and residential conveyancing during traineeship and since being qualified.Previous exposure to banking transactions is preferable but not essential, with a willingness to learn such banking transactions.Experience in commercial property transactions.Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a teamCommercial acumen and excellent analytical skillsA sociable person, capable of communicating at all levels with an ability to communicate points clearly in a non-confrontational mannerA calm and measured approach to problem solvingA willingness to work hard above and beyond normal office hours if requiredThe CandidateIdeal candidate will be 1 - 3 years qualified, with work experience in the relevant areas.Salary: NegotiableReed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
