ClickUp is searching for exceptional backend engineers to join our Meetings team The Meetings team powers the future of collaboration—think real-time communication, seamless integrations, and intelligent features that make every meeting more productive. We're especially interested in engineers with a background in AI voice transcription, speech-to-text, or related technologies, who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems that handle millions of audio events and transcripts daily.

Role:
* Build and optimize backend features and systems for our Meetings platform, with a focus on AI-powered voice transcription and real-time collaboration.
* Own projects end-to-end, from initial design through production deployment.
* Collaborate closely with product, AI, and frontend teams to deliver innovative meeting experiences.
* Identify and implement improvements to our audio processing and transcription pipelines.
* Contribute to a world-class, inclusive, and fun engineering culture.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent major.
* 6+ years of experience engineering performant and high-throughput backend systems (ideally on ).
* Proven experience with AI voice transcription, speech-to-text, or similar projects/companies.
* Strong coding skills (ideally in TypeScript) and a track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code.
* Experience building and scaling distributed, event-driven systems.
* Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries at scale.
* Familiarity with major cloud services (ideally AWS).
* Empathetic communicator and effective collaborator.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and able to deliver results with minimal direction.
* Product-minded with a keen sense for great user experiences.
