EHS Technician – Kerry Dairy Ireland
Environmental protection and keeping our people safe is at the heart of our operations at Kerry Dairy Ireland. We are recruiting a number of people that are hungry to learn and develop quickly into the next generation of environmental, health & safety experts in the industry.
If you have a minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial experience with a passion for safety, sustainability and environmental protection, join our EHS Academy – a unique opportunity to build a long‑term career in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) within the dairy and food manufacturing sector.
Locations: Southwest Ireland (Listowel, Newmarket, Charleville), GB (Ossett), Northern Ireland (Coleraine, Portadown). Multiple locations and vacancies.
Duration: 2‑year development programme + Sponsored baseline qualifications & future degrees (H&S).
Start date: January 2026.

Key responsibilities
* Learn, learn, learn – through hands‑on experience with our EHS experts.
* Complete additional academia and training as per your tailored development plan.
* Support EHS managers in promoting a safety‑first, quality‑always culture at your nominated location(s).
* Conduct audits and inspections on all significant environmental and people safety protection systems.
* Assist with administration and management of critical environmental and safety systems (ISO14001, Hazard Identification Programme, Safety Management System, PPC Permit, Waste Management, etc.).
* Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders (front‑line staff, managers and senior leaders).
* Travel to multiple locations to understand differing techniques, processes, manufacturing and associated controls to develop all‑round industry capability.
Who we are looking for
* Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience at any level with a passion for building a career in EHS.
* A genuine interest in safety, environment, sustainability and the food industry.
* Proactive, curious and willing to learn and develop quickly.
* Strong communication skills and confidence to work with people across all levels.
* Flexible to travel between sites to build industry experience.
