Construction Planner Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Planner to join our team at Necto Search and Selection. This hybrid role involves working with a leading Irish Planning Consultancy on various projects, focusing on programming, scheduling, and detailed planning for the Data Centre and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Programme Development: Collaborate with the project team to prepare comprehensive construction programmes.
* Design and Procurement Schedules: Develop detailed design and procurement schedules in coordination with the project team.
* Project Coordination: Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Managers to review and report on project progress.
* Critical Activity Monitoring: Track and monitor critical activities within the project programme.
* Progress Reporting: Report progress to Directors and Clients, comparing planned versus actual progress.
* Monthly Reports: Assist in the creation and development of monthly progress reports.
* Internal Presentations: Present project information in internal meetings.
* Programme Control: Manage and document programme revisions.
* Client Meetings: Participate in project meetings and discussions with Clients as needed.
* Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to organise work package phases.
Requirements:
* Educational Background: A construction qualification is preferred.
* Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Construction Planning.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in P6 and Microsoft Office packages.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with all project personnel.
* Organisational Skills: Highly organised with a methodical, proactive, and energetic approach.
* Teamwork: Ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
