Job Title: Business Development Manager
Description:
* The appointment of a Business Development Manager will shape, develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the retail side of the business.
* You will be supporting existing retail partners to help them reach the best choices for their business needs.
* Maximise sales opportunities across the region, and work cross-functionally with other channels to source further growth opportunities.
* Maintain and grow the customer base through acquisition, building positive relationships in accordance with company targets (volume and margin).
* Investigate potential for new locations within your sales territory.
* Identify opportunities to increase our product offering at locations e.g. Adblue, HVO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively address volume variance reports with customers and take necessary action.
* Develop market intelligence and engage with marketing initiatives.
* Attend locations on a regular basis to ensure all sites are fully operational and comply with brand and operational procedures.
* Ensure excellent credit control by working closely with the Sales Manager - Dealers and Credit Control Team.
Requirements:
* A proven background in sales, working with defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Key account management experience Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills both written, verbal as well as strong listening skills
* A full driving license is essential as the role involves regular travel.
