Senior Associate / Supervisor level

two specialist Depositary teams

The Role
This Depositary model offers
deeper specialisation
than traditional A-Z providers, with strong exposure to governance, regulation, and senior stakeholders.
You will join one of two core areas:
Relationship Management (Client-Facing Depositary)
This team focuses on client service delivery and governance oversight.
Responsibilities typically include:
* Acting as a key
Depositary contact
for assigned funds and clients
* Preparing for and participating in
board meetings
, governance forums, and client service calls
* Managing
client expectations
, queries, and escalations
* Maintaining oversight across core Depositary duties, including cash and NAV-related matters
* Applying a sound working knowledge of
UCITS and AIFMD
regulations
* Coordinating internally with operational and oversight teams to ensure consistent service delivery
This area suits candidates who are strong
all-rounders
, commercially aware, and comfortable in client-facing environments.
Investment & Borrowing Oversight
This is a
more technical Depositary team
with in-depth responsibility for investment and borrowing compliance.
Responsibilities typically include:
* Monitoring compliance with
investment and borrowing restrictions
* Reviewing breaches, errors, and escalations from a Depositary perspective
* Interpreting fund documentation, prospectuses, and regulatory requirements
* Working closely with Fund Accounting and other service providers on complex issues
* Contributing to controls, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
This area suits candidates who enjoy
technical analysis
, regulation, and detailed oversight work.
About You
We're open to a range of backgrounds, provided you bring strong fundamentals and sound judgement.
You are likely to have:
* Experience in
Depositary, Trustee, Custody Oversight, or Fund Accounting
* A strong understanding of
NAVs, fund structures, and control frameworks
* Exposure to
NAV breaches, investment restrictions, or regulatory oversight
* Familiarity with
UCITS and/or AIFMD
environments
* Confidence working with multiple stakeholders in a regulated setting
Fund Accounting candidates are very much encouraged to apply
