A global retailer is seeking an immediately available
Payroll & Operations Analyst
to join the business on an initial
2-month contract
. This is a hybrid role, requiring travel to the
Dublin office 2–3 days per week
.
Role Overview
The Payroll & Operations Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational and administrative aspects of the
Executive population across ROI and the UK
. This includes end-to-end lifecycle processes for Directors, such as offers, onboarding, payroll, and offboarding.
The role ensures executive People & Culture operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Offer & Onboarding
* Prepare total reward packages for new hires and promotions, including supporting the Executive Reward Manager with side-by-side comparisons
* Prepare job offers, including offer letters, contracts, and offer packs
* Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time
Executive Records & Data Management
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date executive records with full reconciliation
* Generate reports and analytics as required
* Create and maintain data and records to support efficient team processes
Payroll Processing
* Work closely with outsourced payroll providers
* Ensure executive payroll records are accurate and current
* Prepare payroll instructions and review payroll drafts
* Ensure payroll transactions are completed accurately and on schedule
* Reconcile payroll and benefits accounts each period
* Produce payroll reports and summaries in conjunction with providers
Year-End Cycle
* Support the Executive Reward Manager with delivery of the year-end timetable
* Create documentation for executive performance reviews, including data collection and summary files
* Prepare executive reward review files using accurate historic and current data
* Ensure all documentation is right first time and easily translated into summary decks
* Draft year-end reward letters
Reward & Benefits Administration
* Administer executive benefits programmes, including enrolments, changes, and terminations
* Draft responses to executive queries regarding reward and benefits
Compliance & Policy Management
* Stay current with labour laws and regulations
* Support development and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures
* Assist with internal and external audits
* Prepare data for statutory reporting
* Maintain absolute confidentiality of sensitive data
* Escalate compliance or legislative issues as required
Redundancy
* Calculate redundancy payments and prepare documentation for colleagues in the UK and ROI (including non-executives)
* Maintain accurate records of redundancies and associated details
Offboarding
* Manage administration of the offboarding process
* Ensure return of company property and termination of system access
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* Proven experience in Payroll and HR Operations or a similar role
* Strong proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
* Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality
Desirable:
* HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR)
* Experience supporting executive lifecycle management
* Familiarity with HR systems and payroll software
