Position Description The primary purpose of the Depots Team is to provide efficient and reliable support to delivery teams, while maintaining a high standard of security, adhering to established work practices, and ensuring strict operational controls are applied to both indoor and outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities The custody and security of stocks and stores premises The physical movement of stocks in and out of stores The implementation of a wide range of stores procedures and regulations The control of bulk issue materials The operation and use of computer systems, forklifts and stores handling equipment Open & close depot daily Ensure materials are kept accurate on the stock account Maintain housekeeping policy Experience and Qualifications Essential Leaving Certificateor equivalent work experience is essential.
A working knowledge in the use of Information Technology An appreciation of stores operations An ability to work with all staff groups to provide an effective storekeeping service Desirable Forklift Licence Manual Handling Certificate Location This position will be based in Portlaoise Depot.
Reporting to The successful candidate will report into the Materials Services Supervisor.
