DublinThe RoleThe role of a Finance Operations Analyst is to act as the link between finance, operations, and IT - improving day-to-day financial processes, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing the efficiency of systems that keep the business running smoothly.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in improving the flow of financial information between systems and teams. You'll ensure that finance and operations are fully aligned on processes, reporting, and data integrity as part of a range of wider integration project projectsKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the Finance team with integration projects across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, LS Retail, Shopify, and AzureReview and streamline financial operations processes, including sales reconciliation, stock movement, and cost of sales mappingIdentify and implement process and reporting improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiencyPartner with IT, Operations, and Commercial teams to align data flows and reporting structuresDevelop and maintain dashboards and performance reports to support management decision-makingAssist in testing, validating, and documenting new system and process changesProvide clear guidance and training to non-finance users, ensuring strong understanding and ownership of financial data across the businessBuild key relationships & manage relationships with external systems service providersExample DeliverablesAutomating daily sales and margin reporting between POS systems and general ledgerReconciling e-commerce transactions between Shopify and the general ledgerMapping cost of sales across multiple systemsDeveloping dashboards showing store-level performanceSupporting the Head of Finance during systems integration or auditMapping POS payments to general ledgerAbout YouYou are a financially literate, systems-savvy analyst who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working collaboratively across departments.You will ideally have:A degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or Business (part-qualified or fully qualified accountant an advantage)3+ years' experience in financial analysis, operations finance, or ERP-related projects within retail businessesStrong working knowledge of ERP& POS systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, LS Retail, SAP, or Oracle)Excellent Excel and data analysis skills; Power BI experience desirable, SQL and other data analysis toolsStrong communication and project coordination skillsA proactive, detail-driven approach and ability to work across functionsPackage & BenefitsAnnual salary: €50,000- €60,000 (depending on experience)21 days' annual leave (pro-rata)Hybridworking - typically 50% office basedFlexible start/finish timesOur Commitment to Inclusion:We believe every colleague should feel empowered to be their authentic self at work respected, valued, and included, no matter who they are, where they're based, or what role they play.Inclusion is at the heart of how we operate.
