Role Title: Shipping Specialist
Location: Dublin 15
Scope of Role:
This position is responsible for coordinating the shipping of samples, bulk drug substance, drug product, and finished products from internal and external manufacturing sites to primary distribution centres. Another key component will be management of internal relationships, including cross-functional departments to ensure business success. In this role, you should have strong business acumen, problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a GxP environment.

Accountabilities
Key Activities / Key Accountabilities
* Coordination and execution of Drug Substance, Drug Product, Finished Product shipments and samples across our Global Network.
* Responsible for aspects of the GxP compliance requirement which will include ownership of quality records within our Quality Management System.
* Creation of GMP and non-GMP documentation including SOPs and shipping documentation across Global Logistics.
* Fully compliant with internal SOPs and standards.
* Participate in projects for continuous improvement related to Global Logistics and Supply Chain.
* Coordinate and introduce new shipping lanes for new and existing products from commercial launch and clinical to commercial activities.
* Maintain regular and proactive communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of schedules.
* Identify process improvements within the function and drive the initiative forward to implementation and effectivity using structured frameworks and capabilities.
* Coordination and execution of Finished Packed Product shipments across our distribution network.
* Ensure temperature-monitored shipments of product are managed correctly by evaluating temperature data, releasing shipments, and investigating excursions following a GxP process.
* Manage operational logistics to identify, develop, update or maintain sustainable processes to ensure on-time delivery with no interruption to supply across our Global Network.
* Fully compliant with internal SOPs, standards and associated training and responsible for CAPAs, Change Controls, Deviations and Corrective Action plans in the Quality Management System.
* Identify process improvements and participate and manage projects for continuous improvement related to Global Logistics and Supply Chain.
* Coordinate introduction of new shipping lanes for new and existing products.
* Creation of GMP and non-GMP documentation including SOPs and shipping documentation across Global Logistics.
* Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear processes are in place to execute all aspects of the role.
* Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, and all requirements under Data Protection Legislation in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme.

Skills / Qualifications
Expected Years of Experience (Minimum)
* At least 2 years working in Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Logistics or Operations role within an international environment.
* Previous experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, in particular SAP.
Expected Qualifications
* Knowledge and understanding of HPRA GDP standards.
* Strong problem-solving experience.
* SAP knowledge of SD and MM environment.
* Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills.
* Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field preferable.
