About the Role Our client a leading Insurance company are seeking a Data Analyst to join their team for an immediate start.
This role is initially being offered on a contract basis and offers flexible hybrid working.
This role plays a vital part in supporting Finance, Regulatory Reporting, and Insurance Analytics.
You will be instrumental in driving data quality best practices, providing actionable insights as the Data and Financial Operations function undergoes an exciting redesign.
Key Responsibilities Data Analysis and Insight Investigate and analyse data quality issues across key systems and domains.
Identify root causes, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Provide clear, actionable insights to support remediation and prevention.
Reporting and Monitoring Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and exception reports.
Create transparent and repeatable reporting to track progress over time.
Data Investigation and Issue Resolution Respond to data quality queries and investigate anomalies, inconsistencies, or gaps.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate findings and support resolution.
Process Improvement Collaboration Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance data quality processes, controls, and standards.
Provide practical input based on data trends and user needs.
Ideal Experience Experience in Business/Financial Analysis, or Data Analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex datasets.
Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge processes constructively.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion.
