OverviewWe\'ve partnered with an innovative organisation developing advanced wireless battery management technology. We are looking for a System Test Engineer for a 12-month contract to support complex, safety-critical automotive platforms. With the rapid growth of electric vehicles and renewable energy, these systems play a critical role in improving performance, safety and sustainability.ResponsibilitiesDrive system-level test strategy and execution for key programsWork with architects and designers to understand requirements, specifications and implementationsDevelop and execute comprehensive validation plansDefine long-term test roadmaps, capabilities, flows and methodologies to improve productivityIdentify and test corner cases beyond specifications to uncover marginalities and risksSpecify and support development of hardware and software needed to automate test coverageSkills RequiredSystems engineering and/or formal testing of complex (ideally automotive) systemsAUTOSAR experience advantageousEmbedded C/C++ and Python or other scripting languagesStrong hardware and software troubleshootingFamiliarity with compiler/debug tools (IAR, Keil, Segger, etc.)Version control and regression testing (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)Analog and mixed-signal board knowledgeComfortable using oscilloscopes, spectrum/logic analyzers and hardware debug toolsCollaborative team player with strong communication skillsProactive, hands-on, fast learnerNice to haveAutomated silicon verificationAutomated software/system verificationWireless networking or RFFunctional safety or safety-critical systemsRequirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc.)CybersecurityARM Cortex-M/R microcontrollersEducation & Work ExperienceBSc/BEng in Electronic or Computer Engineering (MSc preferred)5+ yearsTitle: System Test Engineer (Automotive)Location: HybridClient Industry: TechnologyAbout Korn FerryWe unleash potential in people, teams, and organizations.
