We have a new opportunity for Neurovascular Postdoctoral Researcher with our client based in Dublin.

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity for two Postdoctoral Research Scientists to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary research team working on the project "Cell Therapy Platform: Unlocking Life-Changing Treatments for Neonatal Brain Injury."

The role focuses on developing a dual-cell therapy to treat neonatal hypoxia-associated brain injury, one of the leading causes of infant mortality and long-term neurological disorders globally.


Key Responsibilities

* Design and optimize in vitro hypoxia models of neonatal brain injury.
* Conduct proteomic and transcriptomic analyses (RNA-seq) to explore mechanisms of action.
* Integrate multi-omics data to identify therapeutic pathways and biomarkers.
* Define and validate critical quality attributes (CQAs) for MSCs and ECFCs.
* Develop and implement potency and release assays ensuring product consistency and compliance.
* Collaborate with GMP, regulatory, and clinical teams to support downstream activities.
* Lead data analysis, reporting, and manuscript preparation.
* Present findings at internal meetings, conferences, and consortium events.
* Contribute to project milestones, documentation, and regulatory submissions.


Essential Criteria

* PhD in Neuroscience, Cell Therapy, Regenerative Medicine, or a related field, with 3+ years postdoctoral experience.
* Proven experience in vitro/in vivo models of hypoxia or neurovascular injury.
* Expertise in cell biology, particularly with MSCs and ECFCs.
* Hands‑on experience with omics technologies and data integration.
* Strong understanding of CQAs, potency assays, and ATMP release criteria.
* Analytical ability to manage and interpret complex biological datasets.
* Demonstrated project management skills and ability to meet research milestones.
* Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills; experience mentoring others is an advantage.
