We are looking for someone who is eager to take ownership of their work, contribute to our ongoing success, and grow within a team that values innovation and efficiency.*What You'll Bring To MKO*Ownership of Group Payroll: You will take the lead on processing biweekly and monthly payrolls across multiple Group entities. This includes posting journals in the general ledger, ensuring every team member is paid accurately and on time.Compliance and Technical Excellence: You will manage all technical aspects of payroll, including Benefit-in-Kind (BIK), share awards, pensions, and statutory deductions. You will also oversee Auto-Enrolment registration and processing, as well as coordinate the accuracy of our UK payroll operations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with our People and Culture team, you will resolve payroll queries and ensure data consistency. You will act as a point of contact during external audits, providing the necessary documentation and ensuring our processes remain fully compliant with regulatory standards.Financial Support and Expense Management: Beyond core payroll, you will handle employee expense claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements. You will also provide support to the wider finance team with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.Drive for Process Improvement: We value fresh perspectives. You will be encouraged to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our financial and payroll systems.*What We're Looking For In You*We are seeking a self-motivated professional with a proactive approach and a willingness to contribute to process improvements.A minimum of 2 years' experience in a payroll role.Strong knowledge of Irish payroll processes, including statutory deductions, tax, social insurance, and benefit calculations.Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, Collsoft, or similar systems) and proficiency in Microsoft excel.Excellent numeracy with a proven track record of high-level accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with employees and external stakeholders.*Ideally, You Will Also Possess:*A relevant professional qualification in payroll (preferable but not essential).Experience managing UK payroll or multi-entity payroll structures.An interest in evolving payroll legislation and automated system improvements.Grow With UsAt MKO, your professional development is important to us, with ongoing opportunities for training and development, and you can learn on the job.
