As a Senior Resident Engineer for MEICA works, you will play a key role within the site supervision team on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Our company prides itself on efficient procedures and processes that drive project success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Project Resident Engineer and Employer's Representative, liaising with Site Supervision Teams on each Contract, dealing with contractual matters on-site related to MEICA Works, and assessing Contractor claims and writing reports on same.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Reporting to the Project Resident Engineer and Employer's Representative.
o Liaison with the Site Supervision Teams on each Contract.
o Dealing with contractual matters on-site related to MEICA Works.
o Assessment of Contractor claims and writing reports on same.
o Assessment of Contractor payment applications against work completed.
o Assessment of Contractor performance against Contractual KPIs.
o Review of Contractor MEICA design submissions including equipment details against client requirements and preparation of clear comments.
o Supervision of works, keeping records, measuring, managing correspondence, and contractual documentation.
o Monitoring the commissioning of the works and process proving.
A primary degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant disciplines is required. Strong knowledge of the water industry is preferred, as well as familiarity with industry-standard forms of contract and experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of MEICA infrastructure.
