Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Reporting to the Group Operations Technical Lead, this key role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer and legislative requirements across all sites. As a subject matter expert in food safety legislation, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and achieve excellence in our QMS.

* Manage supplier approval and third-party accreditations for all sites, conducting scheduled audits as per risk assessment and driving corrective action completion and verification to achieve compliance to third-party and customer schemes.
* Communicate audit findings to stakeholders, assist in organizing audit dates with third-party bodies, and support the management of the QMS for the grower network and packhouses.
* Conduct gap analysis of new standards and implement changes in the QMS, as well as support, train, and develop Quality Assurance and Growing Operations Teams across the group to meet current and future departmental needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
* Proficient in IT skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while managing multiple activities and meeting deadlines.
* Undertaking or completion of a degree in a related discipline (Food Technology, Food Safety, Nutrition, Agricultural Science) and working experience of Food Industry Standards is desirable.
* Understanding of HACCP Principles and ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
