Senior Finance Manager
A fast-growing international software provider is seeking a Senior Finance Manager with strong payroll experience to join its finance leadership team. The organisation operates across a large multi-jurisdictional footprint and offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with genuine flexibility and long-term progression.
This is a senior accounting role with responsibility for core financial operations, financial control and compliance across a complex group structure, alongside ownership of international payroll across multiple jurisdictions.
Your Responsibilities:
* Overall ownership of international payroll across 18 plus jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and full compliance with local tax and employment legislation
* Act as the senior finance escalation point for payroll providers, internal stakeholders and external advisors
* Ensure payroll processes align with broader financial controls, reporting requirements and audit standards
* Lead core finance operations including accounts payable, fixed assets and transactional controls across 20 plus group entities
* Manage daily group cash flow, liquidity monitoring and short to medium term cash flow forecasting
* Support treasury activities including banking relationships and payment scheduling
* Own the intercompany recharge process, ensuring accurate calculation, documentation and compliance with transfer pricing policies
* Oversee VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including filings, reconciliations and liaison with external advisors
* Manage and coordinate audit activity within the remit of the role, responding to payroll, VAT, AP and cash related queries
* Oversee group insurance renewals in partnership with brokers and internal stakeholders
* Lead, develop and support finance team members within scope of the role
* Act as a trusted finance partner to the wider business, contributing to process improvements, systems enhancements and global finance projects
Your Experience:
* Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with five years plus post qualification experience
* Senior finance experience within a multinational or group environment
* Proven ownership of international payroll across multiple jurisdictions
* Strong background across accounts payable, cash flow management and intercompany accounting
* Solid working knowledge of VAT in a multi entity, multi country setting
* Experience supporting audits and operating within strong financial control frameworks
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confident communicator, comfortable working across international teams and time zones
* Experience in a fast paced, high growth international environment
* Familiarity with payroll providers, ERP systems and expense management platforms
* Exposure to insurance renewals and broker management
