An exciting opportunity for an experiencedField Service Engineerto join our client, a market-leading company in theProcess Equipment and Engineering Solutions industry. This role will primarily be basedonsite in Little Island, Cork on apermanent contract. This role requires flexibility in terms of traveland client sites and will requireovernight stays for certain client site visits(nationwide).Role Responsibilities:In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with a focus on valve related items.The Field Service Engineer role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility of upkeep/maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.Adherence to the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.Role Requirements:Mechanical/Electrical engineering academic &/or trade qualification.Previous experience in a field-based role is advantageous.Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
