As a QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our client's products and services. You will lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving best practices and continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in testing and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
3. Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes.
4. Conduct testing using Python and Java, ensuring thorough coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.
5. Perform SQL database testing to validate data integrity and performance.
6. Utilize Jira for test management and Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
8. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies.
9. Report on QA activities, progress, and key metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
10. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Lead or in a similar role.
11. Proven experience in testing using Python and Java.
12. Strong proficiency in SQL database testing.
13. Hands-on experience with Jira and Jenkins.
14. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
15. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
16. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
