As an Engineer with The Coca-Cola Company, you’ll help us transform our business. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the management, implementation, and execution of technical projects. You’ll work closely with Coca-Cola customers, software development teams, hardware teams, and product owners to investigate and triage issues in the field, identify defect patterns, and develop project plans that meet our transformation goals. The qualified candidate will be solutions-oriented and will have a track record of successfully finalizing projects, along with the ability to work in teams and manage conflicting interests.
What You’ll Do for Us
1. Lead technical aspects in the evaluation, troubleshooting, and implementation of new products and packages, working with market development teams and bottlers.
2. Collaborate with technical teams in executing new technologies, processes, and innovative solutions in the market, providing technical operations support for promotions and line extensions.
3. Ensure continuity of supply for current packages and brands by reviewing sales trends, production capacities, and capabilities; coordinate with bottlers’ technical teams to support business growth.
4. Ensure raw materials and packaging supply to support sales growth, maintaining supply chain continuity and system alignment to drive results.
5. Drive productivity initiatives across the system, identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs, and influence practices to improve product affordability.
6. Participate in developing business plan objectives and ensure timely execution of technical activities.
7. Support package and product quality, co-lead efforts to minimize risks, ensure compliance with technical policies, and encourage investments in human capabilities at bottling operations.
8. Review prototypes, define improvements to ensure brand fit, and coordinate with bottling partners on implementation and necessary investments.
9. Lead technical projects requiring cross-system and cross-functional cooperation to innovate in products, packaging, and promotions.
10. Review new product market performance, address technical issues, and meet business requirements.
Qualification & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Engineering or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods company, leveraging technical knowledge for competitive advantage.
* Ability to triage problems, prioritize, and propose solutions.
* Ability to work independently, raise issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, creative, with a passion for quality processes.
* Fluent in software QA metrics, operations, and statistics.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills.
* Experience from concept to launch using a defined NPD or change management process.
* Proven project management skills, including leading projects and motivating teams.
* Track record in identifying and applying new technologies for business solutions.
* Ability to manage expectations and refine solutions with limited resources.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
