As a
Senior Manufacturing Engineer
, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting new product introductions.
This role will also have a sustaining engineering focus and support continuous improvement efforts across our product lines.
This is a pivotal role collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, enhance product reliability, and ensure compliance with global standards.
This role can be
fully on site or hybrid
(4 days on site and one from home).
You will:
Lead product sustaining engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Manage and execute design changes, including design transfers for NPIs.
Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, and techniques used in production.
Plan, design, and develop mechanical parts, systems, equipment, and packaging.
Provide technical leadership to resolve product and manufacturing site issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and proactively address quality issues.
Document and present research, recommendations, and technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Provide technical guidance to colleagues, anticipate process/capacity challenges, and develop effective solutions.
Manage multiple components of large projects, balancing time and resources to meet deadlines.
Support compliance and safety standards (ISO *****, IEC *****, REACH, ROHS, CE, etc.), including coordination with labs for testing.
Draft and coordinate Engineering Change Orders across product lines.
Support new product design and testing with Design for Manufacturing feedback.
Create/update technical drawings (CAD, SolidWorks).
Work with electronics, PCs, operating systems, and MS Office applications (including MS Project).
Read and interpret schematics and electrical/electronic documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Hardware or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
5+ years of experience in manufacturing sustaining roles.
Cross-discipline knowledge of mechanical and test engineering.
Strong project management skills with proven ability to meet milestones.
Experience interpreting new/revised standards and applying statistical analysis.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement methodologies, and CAD tools.
Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
